Designer and Developer
mARtian is an augmented reality game designed to teach players about space in museum settings. Through a series of minigames, players learn about the solar system, and it was shown through our studies that this game tangibly improved their knowledge. I worked on the gameplay programming, game design, audio design, and research.

NARRATIVE DRIVEN RPG

Solsikke
Designer, Developer, and Composer
Solsikke is a short 2D multiplayer game, designed to teach people about the concept of death in an approachable and sensitive way. Players play though a story starting with the death of a loved one and working through levels associated with each stage of grief. I worked on the level design, audio design, visual design, and gameplay programming.

DECK-BUILDING RPG ADVENTURE

All Hands On Deck!
Designer, Developer, and Composer
All Hands on Deck! is a 3D pirate themed deck-building action RPG. You must defend your home islands from invaders! With your pirate ship and magic-camera, take pictures of the environment, to print out into cards to use in battle! I worked on game and conceptual design, narrative design, environmental design, sound design, scripting, cutscenes, and UI.

MUSIC
Starfall
Reimagination of the soundtrack and sound effects from Celeste. Used a mix of 8 bit and "real" instruments to keep with the feel of the game and used arpeggiated chords to build energy. Had different sections play depending on the area.
Salty Seas
Used 12/8 rhythm, percussion, and instrumentation to create movement and a piratey feel. Have a brighter A section and a darker B section that share rhythmic and melodic motifs which are designed to be looped either together or on their own.
Out of The Airlock
Ambient soundscape created out of synthesized sounds to give a feeling of being in space. Specific rocket launch sound effect created for Play button press and designed to be cohesive in terms of timbre.
